The fine print, kept short

Terms of service

Last updated: February 2026

These terms govern your trust's use of the Mandira temple management platform operated by Mandira Systems (“we”, “us”). By signing up, the temple trust agrees to these terms.

1. The service

  • Mandira provides a multi-tenant SaaS platform — billing & PWA counter, notification engine, regional panchang, ledger, payroll and devotee CRM modules.
  • Self-hosted messaging gateways are operated on a best-effort basis. We recommend SMS / email fallback for critical reminders.
  • GST tagging on receipts is provided as a convenience; your trust remains responsible for filing.

2. Subscriptions & fees

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All fees are exclusive of GST, which will be charged as applicable.
  • There are no per-counter or per-message licensing fees. Hardware, internet and printer costs are borne by the trust.
  • Plan upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Refunds: we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first subscription. After that, fees are non-refundable but you may cancel anytime.

3. Acceptable use

  • You will not use Mandira to send unsolicited promotional messages outside the consent recorded in the devotee CRM.
  • You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, sub-license or resell the platform to third parties.
  • You will keep counter-clerk credentials secure and rotate them on staff change.

4. Data & ownership

Your trust owns all data uploaded to Mandira. We process it strictly as a Data Processor on your behalf, per our Privacy notice. On termination, you receive a full data export.

5. Uptime & support

  • Mandapa and Gopuram plans include a 99.5% monthly uptime commitment, measured outside scheduled maintenance.
  • Counter PWA continues to operate offline regardless of cloud uptime — receipts continue to print.
  • Priority support: email and WhatsApp, business hours, weekdays.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Mandira's aggregate liability under these terms is capped at the fees paid in the preceding twelve months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
